I was recommended by TR Family dental, as they no longer have a pediatric dentist on staff. I called the Toms River office as a new patient for my four year old son who has an abscess. We lost our insurance 3 months ago, so I had put off getting his filling done, which resulted in the need for an emergency visit today. The receptionist told me they weren’t taking new patients until the second week of December. I was a dental receptionist for years and would have lost my job if I had handled a new patient emergency call like that. Luckily a friend who is a dentist was able to get us in tomorrow morning. I am apalled at the lack of customer service and basic dental knowledge, especially for a pediatric office.
Absolutely horrible, given paperwork to fill out 25 minutes after apt time and waited over an hour to see the orthodontist. Waiting room so busy bunch of people standing. Saw dr for 2 mins then waited more time for the one X-ray machine they have in office. Have never seen an office like this. Would highly recommend not going here
My son has had some traumatic experiences at another denist office and so we were given the name of Dr. W. My son had his appointment this morning and it was amazing! So thankful we were given his name and number!
I was extremely worried about how my son, who has profound autism, would be able to handle his first dental experience. Dentistry for Children in Toms River is a remarkable place. The doctor was kind and patient with my son who had severe anxiety about sitting in the dentist chair. Needless to say, the visit was terrific...so much so that my son ended up tickling the doctor, and ended the visit with a huge hug for him. Happy I found this dental office.
The worst worst experience of my life with dealing with this dental office. I don't recommend anyone using this office. The office staff has no interest in helping when there needs to be a solution to a problem.
