I have been a patient of Dr. Pappas for many years. Many reviewers perceive her no-nonsense approach as "being rude." I disagree with those reviews, Dr. Pappas listens to my concerns, and cuts straight to the point with recommendations and a treatment plan. Each of the doctors that she has recommended have been outstanding. She makes time to see patients on short notice. I am very satisfied with her practice.
Dr. Pappas is truly an amazing doctor! She is so friendly and caring and took excellent care of my fiance and I. I'm so happy to have found my new family care doctor in Toms River! Dr. Pappas is absolutely amazing. If it wasn't for her my grandma may not be here today. My grandma who lives on NY, was down for a visit. Well her PCP misdiagnosed her for a few months, Dr. Pappas meet her ONCE and saved her life. She is extremely attentive to her patients. I would highly recommend her to anyone...
Went to MD with one specific concern and left with a pile of referrals she said I needed to complete before she would help with my one concern. One was blood work when I had blood work the week before but she wanted the exact same thing again. I asked for a scrip for non narcotic pain reliever since it would be so long till my one concern would be address and she refused. Assistant had asked me to guess dose and I didn't know so she said I asked for wrong dose instead of just writing it for the correct dose. I questioned why I had to get all these other tests that were unnecessary and I was told, "you don't dictate how she runs her practice".
