I went to go get some beer. When I got to thr counter the woman behind started to ring me up she asked for my id. I reluctantly pulled it out carefully because I had just put a four leaf clover on it and didnt want it ruined. She then proceeded to rub the clover off my id and gave me a very insincere apology and handed me back my id. Will never ever go back their. Rude, disrespectful, and obviously dont care about their customers personal belongings.
I have tried several liquor stores and Monaghan's in Toms River is the best. Their liquors are properly shelved, labeled and easy to find the Rums, Vodka's, Tequila, Whiskey. Also their prices are so much better than other liquor stores. Also, the staff is friendly and if you show respect, you get respect. I learned not to venture away from Monaghan's, it's close to home and the prices and varieties are the best.

i have been coming to this store for years... weekly... i get the same exact type and amount of beer for my weekend... tonight I had my son and his girlfriend with me for the ride (both over 21) .. my same order as usual ... nothing more , nothing less... some new girl at the register wouldn't serve me because my sons girlfriend didn't have her ID!! The guy working acknowledged he knew me and I come and get the same thing but still no service?!! what kind of customer service is that?? you They just lost my business forever
It's a great store! Cashiers are nice and help you find what you need. Don't get lost in the wine aisle!!
