Winding River Park in #TomsRiver #NJ is a great #park to walk your #dogs all year round! There are paved trails, which are plowed during the winter, and some dirt trails throughout the woods! I believe the main trail is 2 miles long but there are benches along the way that overlook 2 ponds, should you need a rest. If you follow the trail to the end & walk back (round trip), it is approximately 4 miles long but it doesn't feel that long! At the RT. 37 west entrance, there's a #playground, #BaseballField, #PicnicTables, #grills 4 barbecuing, & #RestRooms. On the other end, there's just a restroom & baseball field. Overall, Winding River Park is one of my favorite parks in #OceanCounty!
