I haven't had to stay in a hospital Since I was 3 years old and I am now in my 40's. About a month ago I spent the night there and my experience was outstanding. From reception to discharge I was treated with the utmost care. All the nurses and doctors were all so caring and accommodating going above and beyond the call of duty...I don't understand the negative reviews...According to Google this hospital sees over 220,000 patients per year...So of coarse you're gonna have 1 or 2 complaints.
Never going back again. It’s 5 minutes from my house and I’d rather drive then come back to this place. There is no communication and they simply do not care about their patients.
I arrived at this facilty with my wife who is in severe pain at 8 pm. We waited in the waiting room till 11:46 pm. They finally took her back and gave her a bed. At this time she was crying in pain till 12:40 pm till someone came in and informed her that is was possibly a cracked rib that they might have missed when she was operated on here 2 months ago, the doctor ordered an x Ray and left, still no relief for her pain. The next person was a nurse who registered her and brought it to our attention that we still owe 126 dollar co pay from said operation, it is now 12:55 am, she is still in severe pain and it seems to me that no one cares, I don't get it and you don't have to either, if I can help one person my advice is STAY AWAY, God Bless.
Thank you so much community for taking good care of me.
Absolute worst hospital expieriance in my life. Came in having a severe allergic reaction to a medicine, my throat was closing up and my muscles were contracting, was told to sit and wait and it wouldn’t be long. 2 hours later everything kept getting worse and I could no longer walk at this point so I had my boyfriend go up and tell them and they then took me back. On my way back there was at least 6 rooms empty that I saw. Had to switch rooms because the first nurse was wearing something I was allergic to (not her or the hospitals fault) so about 3 hours later I was finally seen.
The doctor came in and said my blood work looked fine so far and he was going to order some medicine to help stop the reaction. I told him I never had blood work done yet I never even got an IV. And he just said oh and walked out. The nurse came back gave me an IV and took my blood and said she was going to bring me in something to relax me. She came back with it and told me what it was and I said that it would interact with my other medicine because I take the same thing. And sure enough she went to double check and I was right. Thank God I asked or I would have overdosed on the table. Then over the process if two hours, every thirty minutes the doctor came in and asked how the muscle relax was working and my answer was always the same, I never got anything. Then finally after 6 hours I was able to get some sort of relief.
Was brought to E.R. on Friday 11/26. ICU 3 days now on another floor. These nurses, dr's, nurses assistant, aides etc. Truly are saving my life. Their care of me is excellent. Cannot thank them enough. Work tirelessly don't know how they do it but bless them.
Terrible experience. My girlfriend has an absess and has been in excruciating pain for the last 2 weeks. I took her in expecting to be in and out and with hopes of her getting it drained and/or getting antibiotics for it. Well we waited in an empty waiting room for over a hour for them to literally look at it and send us back to the waiting room for another hour. After the second hour they finally called her in and gave her a gown to put on and said they’d be right back.... 45 minutes later, another nurse came in and looked at the absess. Another 30 minutes later the doctor came in and looked at it as well and finally decided to prescribe her antibiotics. My primary concern is the fact that she’s been seen over 3 times and we’ve waited over 3 hours for them to do literally nothing. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you enjoy wasting your time.
