The phone system needs an upgrade. Calling this number, gives you a one minute hospital promotion and a prompt to dial your extension or 0. Then the recording repeats again and again. It would not be so bad if they did not keep telling me how great they are. If I cannot get them to answer the phone, how good can you be.
Discharged from the hospital my mother in great pain went here. I have to say after she has been in 3 more rehabs after this one I can compare.... She was treated so roughly during an undignified admission. Stripped down with no curtain and moved every which way to take pictures. It was heartbreaking watching her cry. The nurse was screaming at her all the rules of what she could do and couldn't do. She was kept there for over 4 days hardly moving and filled up with water so bad they sent her back to the ER and stayed for another 2 months at the hospital. When it was again time for rehab we chose Kessler instead. Would never recommend this place to anyone ever.
The staff was sincere and caring and was very responsive to her needs. I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking acute rehab.

My wife spent almost 5 weeks at healthsouth after suffering a stroke. The genuine care,dignity and respect that my wife was given was outstanding. The hospital was spotless and the food was fabulous.
